This utility is designed to aid in the monitoring and resolution of release contention issues that can arise in the normal course of software development activity.   It also assists in monitoring releases that are ready for testing in one or other of the environments defined for a project.

Depending on the criteria entered, it flags releases that meet one or other of the following criteria:

• Contention issues with other releases.

• Activity in other environments.

Brief help text is available by clicking each input field in turn on the screen.

You can simulate the function keys by clicking on the equivalent button to the right.

  • ENTR: Validates the data entered and presents the relevant Release Results Screen.
  • PF1: Displays Help text for this screen.
  • PF3: Exits the utility.
